Compose Taiwan, Step onto the Global Stage!

First launched in 2014 to great acclaim, the “Compose Taiwan” Visual Arts Open Call has continued with successful second and third editions in 2017 and 2020. Over the years, the initiative has successfully introduced emerging talents to the art scene through exhibitions at Apollo Gallery, major art fairs across Taiwan (North, Central, and South), and international art expos. With professional guidance from Apollo Gallery, many finalists have taken significant steps on their journey to becoming established artists, building valuable connections with collectors in the contemporary art market. Building on the outstanding achievements of the first three editions, the 2025 “Compose Taiwan” Visual Arts Open Call returns through a continued collaboration between O-Bank Education Foundation and Apollo Gallery. The event is dedicated to nurturing young Taiwanese artists, offering rewards such as touring exhibitions, international arts and culture experiences, and future creative consultation. It encourages youth to broaden their horizons and actively promote original art that embodies the spirit of Taiwan.

The First prize winner will receive a sponsorship for a one-month arts and culture experience in Vienna and one year of professional artistic mentorship from Apollo Art Gallery. Selected finalists will have their works featured in touring exhibitions at the O-Bank Gallery and Apollo Art Gallery.
