DESCRIPTION:無相山 – 洛貞個展 Mountain beyond appearance – Solo exhibition by Lo-Tsen\n開幕 Opening | 2021.05.15 (六) 15:00 \n展期 Duration | 2021.05.15 – 延期至08.26 \n  \n     \n  \n洛貞的藝術創作歷程始於七零年代，在她仍是二十出頭的桃李年華，是一位外貌溫婉做事認真且執著的女性藝術家。長年不斷地從藝術創作中與自己對話來探索心靈的世界，並堅持著自己所追求的風格，因而逐漸發展出屬於她自己的面貌，不隨波逐流。 \n臺灣知名藝術家兼策藝術評論家劉永仁提到：「她的繪畫作品歷經漫長的思考與提煉，從具象、變形到抽象風格，鏤空的人體、物象也逐漸崩解蛻變至純粹的造形結構。洛貞曾嘗試將繪畫語言自平面擴延為雕塑作品，同樣展現濃烈繚繞菤曲進入層洞之神秘意象。觀讀洛貞最新作力作《無相山》系列的墨線虛實更加精鍊細緻，水墨繪於宣紙顯然更適合她的創作形式，洛貞存乎一心的抽象水墨，在其整體的視覺脈絡之中，仍可以清楚辨識語境的延續，她不僅以藝術展現了內心獨白視界，而且適時釋放生命之困惑。」 \n從37年前(1984年)首次與阿波羅畫廊合作的個展、1993年的【心靈圖像系列】、1996年的【悲慟與喜悅系列】，來到2021年的【無相山】，洛貞娓娓而談：「經過幾十年的努力，我的生活終於可以如此簡單而美好，非常感恩。關注存在的處境及探索存在的本質一直是我生命的軸心與思考，從我歷次的個展主題及精神內涵即可一窺脈絡。」 \n洛貞將於五月中旬第四度於阿波羅畫廊舉行個展，這也是她睽違二十五年重回阿波羅畫廊舉行個展，將展出最新完成的水墨、彩墨平面作品，以及立體雕塑作品。 \n五月，春意正濃、百花齊放，誠摯邀請您蒞臨阿波羅畫廊，欣賞洛貞體現生命中之美好與感恩的藝術結晶。 \n  \nLo began creating art in the 1970s whilst she was in her early twenties – presenting herself as a gentle yet dedicated and persistent artist. Throughout the years\, she has relied on art as a way to both introspect and express herself\, in the process experimenting and developing a style that is distinctively hers. \nAs acclaimed artist and art critic Liu Yung-Jen once described\, “Lo’s works have gone through a long period of refinement and reflection\, as seen through the shift in her style from figurative to abstract. Her expression of hollow figures has gradually disintegrated and morphed into pure and unadulterated structures. Lo extends this practice onto her sculptures\, the entwining curves alluding to mysterious and secretive images. I’ve observed that her newest series\, the masterful ‘Mountain beyond appearance\,’ is one in which the silhouettes have become even more refined and meticulously delicate\, her usage of ink on paper further elevating her chosen style. Lo’s unmistakable abstract ink approach remains consistent\, yet this series is able to extend further into her ever-continuing inquiry of her inner thoughts and the paradoxes of life.” \nFrom her first solo exhibition at Apollo Art Gallery 37 years ago in 1984\, to her subsequent solo exhibitions with the gallery – “Images of the Mind Series” (1993)\, “Mourning / Celebration Series” (1996)\, the more recent “Mountain Beyond Appearance Series” (2021) – Lo-Tsen’s investigations have revolved around the same principles and themes. In the words of Lo-Tsen herself\, “I am very grateful that after decades of hardship\, hard work\, and searching\, I can finally call life simple and beautiful. Examining the essence of human existence and condition has been at the core of my life’s explorations over the years. This central inquiry has been and will continue to be an essential element of each of my solo exhibitions.”

SUMMARY:伍隱拾逸 – 劉洋哲油畫個展 ╳ The One南園
DESCRIPTION:伍隱拾逸 – 劉洋哲油畫個展\n展期 | 2021.08.26 – 2022.08.31 \n地點 | The One南園人文客棧 (新竹縣新埔鎮九芎湖32號) \n  \n以“伍拾”為策展發想，將油畫創作資歷超過伍拾載的藝術家劉洋哲，及歲數步入伍拾的熟齡〈新大人〉做結合。讓下榻於此的〈新大人〉，在身心沉浸於山林美好之時，亦可與新竹在地知名藝術家劉洋哲藝術創作，來一場近距離地對話。 \n南園這座如世外桃源般的山林莊園，一直是不少人想隱山歇心的宿旅首選。2018年起，The One團隊與阿波羅畫廊以“共好”的精神攜手合作，將藝術進駐於南園同心樓的公共空間，以及各個廂房裡，讓來此隱山歇心的旅人們，也可恣意游於藝術之間，深入體驗台灣原創藝術能量與實力。此次個展精選了28件劉洋哲近十年來所創作的作品。劉洋哲擅長以具象來描繪古蹟、文化景觀與各地風景名勝，這也與他念舊惜情的個性有關。另一方面，他也擅於描繪靜物，縝密的構思與精確的構圖，對比的色彩搭配裝飾性的圖騰，企圖捕捉時代潮流的精神，也是紓解鄉愁情緒的表現。 \n此次個展也將結合古典吉他現場演奏，擔任演出的是享譽國際的古典吉他演奏家劉士堉，他也是藝術家劉洋哲的兒子 \nThe One團隊與阿波羅畫廊共同策畫這場藝術饗宴，邀請不再汲汲營營逐利，想找回自己的〈新大人〉，一同下榻於南園體驗超然無累《伍隱拾逸》之旅。 \n  \nThe One官網
