《平整收折的時間02》創作理念
作品源於與外婆生活的記憶，以日常家用摺紙為原型—那些將被丟棄的紙張，在丟棄前被摺成可盛裝廢棄物的小袋。作品中，摺紙內版印家族合影，摺疊後影像斷裂，隱喻家庭記憶的片段與流失。摺紙內逐步過渡為白紙、食物殘屑形狀的剪影，象徵記憶中被掏空的家屋與生活痕跡。五邊形摺紙排列如磁磚與被褥，整齊鋪展、等待收折，反映「被遺忘的價值」與「被期待的樣子」。這些摺紙源自童年與長輩所學的生活技藝，蘊含對物件的珍惜，也再現女性在家庭中被期待收拾與歸整的身影。在創作中，這些細碎日常成為記憶與身份的載體，訴說著關於收納、遺忘與柔軟承接的時間形狀。

Creative Concept: “Flat and folded time 02“
The work originates from memories of living with the artist’s grandmother, taking inspiration from the everyday practice of folding discarded paper into small bags used to hold waste. Inside each folded paper, family portraits are printed; once folded, the images break apart, symbolizing the fragmentation and fading of family memories. Gradually, the printed surfaces transition into blank paper and silhouettes resembling food scraps, representing the hollowed-out home and traces of life within memory.
The pentagonal origami forms are arranged like tiles or bedding—neatly spread out, awaiting to be folded—reflecting “forgotten values” and “the shapes of expectations.” These folded papers stem from domestic craft skills learned in childhood from elders, embodying a sense of cherishing materials while echoing the image of women expected to tidy and organize within the household. In this work, these fragments of daily life become vessels of memory and identity, telling stories of containment, forgetting, and the tender shapes of time that hold and carry the past.
