藝術家介紹
藝術家裵秀英（Bae Soo-Young）是一位專門從事公共藝術指導的裝置藝術家，主要活動於韓國首爾。她在日本留學18年，先後獲得大阪藝術大學的學士、碩士及博士學位。至今，她已舉辦了20場個展，參與了100場策劃展覽及藝術博覽會，並與韓國政府機構及企業合作了超過40個項目，負責策劃與設計工作。

她曾創作了「新村遊戲巴士」（Sinchon Play Bus），成為韓國新村地區的地標性裝置藝術；並設計了首爾市政廳廣場的公共飲水設施「Arisu Pipe & TV」，此外還製作了多種公車候車亭，並打造了位於城東區纛島的「三一獨立運動紀念碑」。這些作品充分展現了她作為公共藝術家的才華。

此外，裴秀英也是一位跨領域的多功能裝置藝術家，她曾與 LG Lacvert 氣墊粉餅及南陽乳業（Namyang Dairy）美味 GT 牛奶合作，並從 UNIQLO AIRism 廣告中的電子電路獲得靈感，以電子電路板——一種工業廢料——為創作素材，為她的作品注入新的生命力。

Artist Introduction
Artist Bae Soo-Young is an installation artist specializing in directing the public art in Seoul, Korea. After studying abroad in Japan for 18 years (Osaka National University of Arts Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral Degrees), she has held 20 individual invitations, 100 planning invitations and art fairs, and over 40 projects with Korean government agencies and companies where she was in charge of planning and design. In making the Sinchon Play Bus, a landmark of Sinchon, Korea and Arisu Pipe & TV for a public drinking fountain at Seoul City Hall Square, as well as producing various bus shelters and of course including a monument to the March 1st Independence Movement in Ttukdo Island, Seongdong-gu, she demonstrated her abilities as a public artist. She is also widely known as a multifunctional installation artist who collaborates art with LG Lacvert Cushion Pact and Namyang Dairy’s delicious GT milk using the emergence of Uniqlo AIRism advertisements electronic circuits, the motif of the work, and by using electronic circuit boards, an industrial waste, is working to breathe new life into her works.
